Timothy Ryan started The Ryan Firm, APC in 2004 and has been practicing in real estate, real estate lending, and business litigation since 1995. Since its inception, The Ryan Firm has represented, and continues to represent, some of the world’s largest lenders and loan servicers.  The Ryan Firm also represents individual investors, specialty loan servicers, business people, foreclosure companies, and others who find themselves in hard-fought litigation – including builders of the most unique and upscale residential and commercial developments in California.

Mr. Ryan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Fullerton in 1988, and was awarded the Laverne F. Graves award in Economics.  Mr. Ryan went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from McGeorge School of Law at The University of the Pacific, where he was on the Dean's Honor Role. Mr. Ryan received the American Jurisprudence Award for his work in Secured Transactions and clerked for The Modesto Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California.  Mr. Ryan is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in every State and Federal court in California.  Mr. Ryan practiced at loan servicing defense firms prior to starting The Ryan Firm, APC in July of 2004.

When Mr. Ryan is not busy strategizing with his team, trying cases, or preparing to do so, he enjoys spending time with his wife of 34 years, sailing, surfing, racing bicycles, and learning Italian.
